Week 11: CryptoPunks and Meebits bought by Yuga Labs, Doodles sales merchandise
Yuga Labs, the creator of Bored Ape Yacht Club, announced that it had acquired CryptoPunks and Meebits from Larva Labs. BAYC has seen 150% sales volume increase over the last week, which took them to #1 of the Cryptoslam’s weekly rating. Project’s floor price has also raised abruptly up to 95.88 ETH.
Both CryptoPunks and Meebits have also seen a quick boost in sales over the last few days after Yuga Labs’ announcement of their IP acquisition - by 220% and 1250% correspondingly. CryptoPunks’ current floor price is 69.69 ETH and Meebits’ is 4.6 ETH.
CyberBrokers is currently #4 in the Cryptoslam’s weekly rating and with a floor price of 2.95 ETH. Unlike most NFTs which only store partial data on-chain, CyberBrokers are stored entirely on the Ethereum network.
Mutant Ape Yacht Club sales volume has increased by 80% over the last week, following BAYC sales boost as usual. Current floor price is 19.38 ETH.
Dour Darcels is a collection of 10,000 NFTs based on a character by artist Craig Redman. The Darcel character was first brought to life 14 years ago and has already collaborated with big brands such as Adidas, Louis Vuitton, Vogue, and The New York Times since then, so its NFT project has a potential to become the next blue chip. Dour Darcels is currently #6 of the Cryptoslam’s weekly rating.
Crabada, play-and-earn NFT game based in a world filled with fierce fighting crabs, has seen over 40% sales volume increase over the last week, which took them to #7 NFT collections by sales.
CloneX is back to top 10 NFT projects by sales volume, having earned $10 m over the last seven days. Project’s floor price keeps decreasing slightly though, currently being 11.99 ETH.
Doodles sales volume has increased by 50% over the last few days, together with Doodle-hosted events at SXSW 2022 conference and launch of physical apparel and souvenir items sales designed by Burnt Toast, the artist behind the popular NFT series. Current projects’ floor price is 12.8 ETH.
Axie Infinity has gone back to top 10 NFT collections by sales volume, despite its 20% sales drop over the last week. The game earned $3.5 b in NFT transactions in 2021, accounting for more than two-thirds of the volume within the blockchain gaming space. However, the future of the game remains uncertain, since the number of daily active players has dropped significantly over the last two months.
The Ukrainian government has announced that it’s going to launch an NFT project marking the history of the Russian invasion with unique digital art, in its latest use of digital assets to fund its war efforts.
